About Metamorphosis Tattoo and our Crew
First established in Lyons, Colorado in 2016, Metamorphosis Tattoo Studio was opened by Serina Malec who wanted to create a safe and comfortable space for both her clients and co-workers. Currently, we are conveniently located in the up and coming downtown area of Longmont, Colorado. We are an award winning, woman-owned business, making one of a kind, custom tattoos while providing a friendly and personal experience. Metamorphosis also promotes and hosts local artisan's fine art, jewelry, ceramics, and more. Supporting local produced goods, making it a great stop for a locally made gift on your way through the shops and eateries here in Longmont. We also host annual art markets and monthly art nights to work with and build our local art community.
While we are an open layout studio to allow for connectivity between our artists, we also have room dividers to allow individual space and privacy. If you are seeking a more private, low- stimulation experience, we recommend booking mid-week Tuesdays-Thursdays when we only have one or two artists in for the day.
Walk-ins are always welcome, but your best chance at us having open availability is on Fridays - Mondays.

Mission
We aim to provide an all-inclusive, LGBTQIA+ ally safe space for our clients and artists. We actively work to raise the standards in hygiene and sanitization. We provide the best quality custom tattoos in Longmont and the County of Boulder. Whether you’re getting your very first tattoo, planning a large custom sleeve, or continuing a lifelong collection, our goal is to create an environment where every client feels comfortable, confident, and excited about the experience.
